Painting
Pacific
Wire & Supply, Inc. only uses galvanized
wire; however, it may oxidize at the welding
points. If forms will be completely covered
with plant material by either stuffing or
wrapping, no painting is necessary. If you
choose to have part or all of the wire form
exposed to attain the effect you desire,
the most economical method is to dip in
the color of paint you choose, let the form
dry completely and finish the form using
the method for either Stuffed
Container or Artificial
topiaries. If the paint you choose is thick
you can thin it with whatever is recommended
on the can. Spray paint can also be used;
but it is more difficult to cover all the
surfaces of the wire completely.
