Selection of Frame

Things to remember:
-Smaller frames dry out faster than larger frames
-Smaller frames look better with smaller leaf plants
-Forms that are hung or are tall/thin will dry out faster

Stuffed Topiary Form (3-Dimensional)

When the form is completely stuffed and wrapped with the fishing line, you will begin planting the desired sections.  Using your finger or a pencil, poke small holes in the moss.  Using small plant “plugs” place the roots into the hole and add more moss around the roots if necessary to fill in the hole.  You can help secure the plant by either inserting a few wire pins or paper clips near the roots or by wrapping the area with more fishing line. The runners can also be secured using the same method. Be careful not to damage the plant runners, stems or leaves by pinching or poking holes in them.
